Why use 3D models at all if they are going to blame dev time going to 3D models every single game instead of literally reusing them like they have been and lie to us. You can bet my ass they didn't take that long with sprites, which they HAVE reused.

I like that they remade all 700 models from gen 1 to gen 5 + all the new ones and all the new animations both in battle, Aime not to say overworld in pokemon XY when they already had them with the Dex 3d pro that they just released shortly before. and they're even better than they were in the 3d Dex although they weren't bad at all

Who complimented gamefreak for that work and said it was good? no one, le autistic faggots were complaining that they couldn't make fusions with 2d sprites anymore (lol). And then you wonder why they didn't want to upgrade much the graphics with gen 8 when gen 7 has been the same exact autism story.

they also redid all the menu sprites and the cries unasked. they redid the sprites AGAIN in gen 8. Gen 8 has honestly been a punishment to both the pokeautism fandom and Nintendo wanting gamefreak to churn out a new game yearly. And it's actually still too good for them, cause if it is for the pokeautists we'd get a gen 2 reselling with absolutely 0 story, no continuity, no innovations, no new pokemon but oh you can control le pokemon in le cave Pokemon prism which is garbage and Pokemon would fail instantly

Gamefreak listens to this autistic fandom. It's why we got the Kanto pandering and megaevounions for old pokemon. Why they quickly added old pokemon in the main story of BW2. And so on. There's a parallel universe somewhere where pokemon went the octopath traveler's way without the use of excessive bloom. The gen 1 & 2 design philosophy was kept and the pixelshit graphics meant they managed to spend more time working on and improving gameplay mechanics instead of complaining that 3D modeling is hard.

Mixing 3D with pixelshit can and will look good when done right. Customization, Amie and PLA's throwing mechanics are very much possible with 2D art though I can see why someone with a nigger-tier IQ wouldn't be able to picture any of that shit.
