These games actually weren’t half bad.

If I were asked to say anything positive about gen 6 or 8, I wouldn’t be able to do it. Gen 7 is one of the best gens. The frequent cutscenes and lack of any post game content beyond Ultra Wormholes sucks though, which is why it’s behind gens 3, 4, and 5.
