What did he even want to do? I think he was rich and shit.
Isn't the Pokemon world pretty much paradise if you are rich? Why didn't he just grab a Gardevoir and a Lopunny and then just chill on a private beach?
If I were rich and in Pokeland, I would just go to Alola and chill on the beach like that with some Alolan hotties and imported Pokemon...
