Water should be weak to ice. Ice is the "cold" type and the moves are freezing moves. It should freeze water.
Bug and poison should be strong against fighting, instead of flying.
Normal should resist nothing, be weak to nothing, and be strong nor resisted against/by anything.

Main series games started to decrease in quality after BW, each 3D entry is worse than its predecessor.
New games focus too much on the online and the solo part is rushed, easy and anecdotical.
Pokemon Legends Arceus is garbage and even less original than the regular formula games because it tries too much to be like any other modern AAA game, if this is your favorite game you aren't a real Pokemon fan.

Power Points are jewish. Pokémon should use a mana pool, with a static regen for all mons.
You should be able to promote Pokémon with low BST into higher tiers.
There should exist pokemon that can never be obtainable.
The mainline games should have different gameplay loops where players can choose to not ever battle. Pokemon should aim to be "god" games in that multiple game genres are available in one game.

Some anon a while ago posted this idea:
Each mon has a pool of 8 energy points.
At the end of every turn they regen 2 points.
Moves cost anywhere from 1 to 8 points. Current conversion of PP to energy would be Max PP / 8 e.g. Flamethrower max pp is 24, divide that by 8 to get 2.6, round to 3. This way moves can only be used so much without spamming it relentlessly.

That's the point, you are forced to actively adapt either by using a different move or switching. In essence this promotes variation in battles. More tactics and less strategy. Singles are already stale enough and somehow you think this hypothetical system would make it worse?
