Thankfully it's not even close to being one of the strongest mons in the game, it might end up being a Pikachu, Lucario and Cinderace wankfest though seeing how much favoritism they get in the game.

It would be a sports anime, most likely with a high school setting, where teams of 5 trainers and their pokemon compete in Unite battles. The license part of the game would probably be ignored and each trainer would have 1 pokemon they always use instead of them picking from a pool like in the games. So the MC would have Pikachu and he would always use Pikachu.
