You're objectively wrong. No games had as much content as gen 1 on the GB. While the GBA could stand 3d, 3d battles and complex pixelated animations that gamefreak didn't even get to with gen 5 (lol), let alone gen 3. Not only that, FRLG strangely downgrade certain things from RSE, but anyway it's minor things compared to the best games on GBA or even side games that had graphics light years ahead than that.
If we add that FRLG doesn't add any pokemon, doesn't add anything of real worth to the originals and basically exists as a marketing strategy to get you the gen 1/gen 2 mons in RSE, that is far from "perfect". The word you wanted to use is "repetitive", since the pokeautists like you love to rebuy the same games 30 times
