They have nothing to show without spoiling the surprise. Before, the typical things that would get showcased were new Pokemon and shit like contests or other side features nobody really cared about with some hints at the real meat of the game like Gym Leaders or evil teams. This time around if the focus is on exploration of an open world and discovering new things like it was with PLA, so keeping the mystery alive is crucial to the gameplay. They have a more interesting game, but as a result they can't really share much info because of it. PLA pre-release was hilariously dry for this reason, but it was less noticable because of BDSP keeping everyone somewhat occupied.
I just think its really, reaaaally weird the month we got no trailer happened to be the month that we got a lot of so-called leaks. Suspicious, even. And the fact it lasted for so long was also pretty weird. I would think that an account leaking info like that would have been struck down a lot faster if it were real, unless the leaker was especially hard to pin down for some reason.
>>51067281I think what kills it for me is the school setting they seem to be going with. Last thing I want to do when I play Pokemon is have to go to class. Isn't the series about the freedom of going on a journey? School isn't about freedom at all, so what the hell? I hope it gets handled correctly.
