Honestly most kaijumon look way cooler in art than in the 3d model. I honestly think they should have made the idles a bit more dynamic, or at least done more with the base posing than "just face forward I guess".

I always thought Mienshao’s art made it look graceful, but its 3D model is just so limp and weird.

Any pokemon who's size gives him a big charisma and presence bigger than life in fanart

Nidoking is perhaps THE "pocket" monster for its body shape conjuring something much larger in the mind than the killer rabbit actually is. Any Pokemon whose design suggests texture where the actual design might just have a lump of color, like Gogoat's "mane"

The 3D models (largely) took the essence away from the Pokémon that were captured in the 2D sprites. It’s like taco bell or Panda Express, they just don’t have the essence of AUTHENTIC Mexican or Chinese food, but technically have the ingredients.
