ITT: The greatest unexplained mysteries of the Pokémon universe
Canonically, Slowbro and Slowking revert back to Slowpoke if the Turban is removed from them. However, what becomes of the Turban upon being removed from the Slowbro/king? Does it revert back to a Shellder? Or does it remain in its Turban form? If it's the latter, how come Turban isn't classified as a split-evo of Shellder? Why is it not officially recognized as its own Pokemon? Will Gamefreak ever rectify this incongruence?
