>>51094842>What is the difference between a justified suicide and a frivolous suicide? Frivolous suicide is one based off of issues of Identity and Ego.
e.g. "Oh no, a girl I liked said no to going out with me, I'm going to commit suicide now."
e.g. 2 "Oh no, I'm going to face the consequences of my actions, I'm going to commit suicide to avoid them"
Both are frivolous suicides of varying degrees; one is treated harsher than the other however. One gets you wacked in the head with a mallet until you realize how stupid your decision was; the other gets you smacked with a giant meat hook with lots of little fish hooks that string you up and rips off your flesh until you realize "Wow, that was a really shitty thing to do."
>Is there suicide that isn't frivolous? Yes; but only in very specific circumstances. If you are in a situation where you must choose evil to survive; suicide is acceptable.
And that's pretty much it; any other form of suicide, even if it's to remedy pain/suffering or to conserve resources for your immediate social circle; or for your country's defense, is frivolous. There are some loopholes however; if you are in pain, ask for death, but do not seek it. It will come to you.
Case in point: "If you willingly anger someone to get them to kill you; this is just suicide by proxy. Your intention was to die, so its still just suicide." However, if you're walking in a bad neighbourhood and you just happen to die, then allez gut. You allowed death to come, but did not seek it. Congratulations.
>>51094884I wouldn't be so offensive, when you yourself are considering suicide within the next 5-12 years Anon. You specifically, are going to consider killing yourself, you're either going to look at the belt you keep on top of your drawer and strangle yourself, or you're going to consider making it the burden of an automobile.
I want you to remember these words when this comes to you
"It is better to live with a frown, than to die with one"
