And? The HGSS art is the most up to date rendition and shows it with feet, so of course some underpaid sprite artist is going to put feet on the BWB2W2 sprite which in turn made them keep feet on subsequent 3d models. What, is this your first retcon or something?

Yes it did, they were always in the anime and on 3D models in Stadium 2 and Colosseum, you just didn't pay attention. Crobat's feet aren't typically shown from that angle since they're obscured by it's face.
