It's not even like Snap has become a legitimate series from now on just because of it.
Also, as a fan of the original I simply couldn't get into New Snap because of how bloated and padded I found it from the very beginning; the original was short in content but was highly-replayable, the new game seems to be overcompensating for this notion by essentially making you play the same stage 3 times (day, night, boss) before unlocking the next one.
On top of each of them have 3 levels you have to grind for. Essentially meaning you play each level about 9 times. I think they went totally wrong there, they should have simply stuck with the few courses they had (and have the 2.0 contents at launch) and no one would be really be complaining about the game being short in content.
I occasionally back to the original game and play the whole thing through in one sitting, without being bored, but I don't see the same happening with New Snap at all (and it's somewhat telling it didn't hit the mark since it was very short-lived among fans in 2021)
