>>51115625>>51115674Is there anywhere that lists off all of the things that they considered for Generation 3 but dropped?
I've said this before on other threads, but I feel like it's the least understood from a development standpoint. I barely know anything other than the things mentioned in this thread which I've heard before from dykg videos. But unlike other generations, we really don't have a lot of beta images, we don't know about cut pokémon, it's unclear what their philosophy was when they made the jump from generation 2 to 3. I also feel that it is quickly becoming the most forgettable generation which I know someone will hate me for saying. But Generation 1 and 2 have the nostalgia/legacy boost, Generation 4 has a lot of nostalgia and is ridiculously popular even with the developers, and then Generations 5 and forward are still recent enough and debated enough that they are very relevant. The generation 3, other than everybody arguing for the remakes several years ago, seems to just never get talked about. And having lived through it, especially if somebody who played RBY on day one, Generation 3 definitely feels like it should get more attention than it does because it was such a huge turn for the franchise that I think a lot of people now just take for granted.
