Pokemons which may benefit from Terastal mechanic.
I start:
Tyranitar ground type. No more the worst rock/dark combo. A lot of ground moves in the movepool.

It would want to pure Rock.
Sure, Rock is shit defensively and Stone Miss is unreliable but the boost in power while also keeping the Sp.Def boost BUT lowering the damage from Fighting and removing the weakness to Fairy, as well as still hitting Flying-types is the best compromise.

Still the point stands even with other monotypes
Even w/o counting additional immunities, weaknesses and resistances you also lose access to a second STAB and the "fundemental" properties of types like fire's immunity to burn, grass immunity to spore moves, absorbing T-spikes with poison mons and so on

I could honestly see that (and similar strategies) being pretty busted with weakness policy. Tyranitar is bulky as hell in sand, not a lot of unboosted Pokemon are OHKOing it without the 4x weakness
