this sounds extremely based hopefully this will be the first pokémon game with a story that takes longer than five hours and a level cap beyond lvl 60

Yeah, but I hope each story has impact on each other...
It feels weird to progress in a story then progress in another one with no connection whatsoever.
Also you could start the first optional story at lvl 10, then finish the main one, and going back to optional story's rival and saying "hey look I'm the champion now!!!".
