They had more blushed noses, lips and cheeks. This detail made them look like old european dolls (they had tiny noses and lips) instead of the usual eggs with sticker eyes that anime characters (they have nonexistent noses and lips) are.

Literally just the "overworld lighting" which is making the nose look way bigger yeah.
And the old model had some blush, which looks pretty weird.

Its actually pretty obvious that the models are pretty okay, but since the 3D lighting is godawful, everything looks pretty disproportionate.
Course this doesn't change the pretty weird designs to everything.

As long as there is no complete dex I will not pay for this in order to play it.
Garbage game is only worth playing as a solo experience with a gutted dex anyway.
