Because yoy do t ride the team member, you ride the function.
You can trade away nebby and the latis and it make no difference to their in game use.

Why not just wait to see if the Scarlet exclusive Pokemon are better or worse? If they're worse, then just get Violet instead since it'd clearly be the superior version. Why do people have this urge to pre-order anyway?

I already know which one looks worse for travelling.
Even if Koraidon happens to be an OU/Uber pokemon, that doesn't mean I wanna watch its goofy running animation for the majority of the game.

Maybe is something wrong to me, but i really love koraidon for a mount. It's kinda cute and more livelly, than cool miraidon bike movement. We had a few mounted mons and koraidon not looking worse than arcanine riding from lgpe or tauros from gen 7. Maybe i'm jusf not seeing that being a problem with air sacks. It will be better, it if not rolling its own tail, but any mon isn't perfect

You technically don't get the other one postgame in Sun/Moon. You get Cosmog in the postgame, but you still need to trade Cosmoem to someone with the opposite version to evolve it into the other cover Legendary and then trade back.

More exclusive mons will decide anyway. But i already see scarlet version not being popular one. This might be changed, if koraidon is broken in combat and has good battle model (any legend not be that broken like zacian). But if it really is a dragon/fighting, that fairy 4x weakness hurt
