The one thing holding it back from becoming my bromon is the fact that it's a one-dimensional Pokemon. Literally has nothing to it but Adaptability Draco Meteor. No Dragon Dance. No Recovery outside Rest. No Scale Shot. Nothing to make it run another set, even as a gimmick. It's a fucking boring Pokemon. What a waste of an incredible design. Once GameFreak throws it a bone, I'll make it my bromon for sure.

Holy shit, that would be fun. DD, Outrage, Gunk Shot, Focus Blast and holding a Life Orb maybe. It has the special bulk to pull 2 dances. With Sticky Web, even one dance would be enough half the time.
Why didn’t they give it the DD TR? Did they think it would be too broken? Or perhaps they knew it would be too fun and GameFreak hates it when people have fun?

In early X/Y online days (the only online battling I've done much of to be honest) I used it constantly. A nice black sludge Dragalge could wall (and smack around) a lot of the common things you'd run into online, since it was mostly Talonflame/Protean Greninja/Charizards X/Y/Some fairy type.

Thought it was one of the best designs in gen 6 and that it sucked that adaptability wasn’t available. It was cool that they made it besties with dhelmise the next gen and gave them matching red and green algae colors.

used one of these bastards in my pokemon y run and have loved 'em ever since, alongside kingdra who i used in emerald. There's something about non-water-type aquatic pokemon (dhelmise, dragalge, eelektross, etc.) that hits all the right notes for me
