>>51160907I don't want to pet Mega Mawile in amie though, Megas are exclusively for battle, but out of battle I still get the original cute Mawile that I liked initially, I don't see how you can try to refute me on this while also saying Megas should have been normal evolutions. With a normal Evo, I lose Mawile forever, with Megas, I get Mawile and also a super strong Mawile evolution for battle.
And if GF was a good developer (they aren't), we could just Mega Evolve them out of battle too anyway, it's very odd how all Mega Evolutions (and even other battle exclusive forms like Zen Mode Darmanitan) had walking and running animations datamined all the way back in S/M but we're getting into theroycraft now
Bottom line is,
1. I don't trust GF to do cross gen evos anymore after Gen 8
2. Megas are cool because they get you the best of both worlds and this can only be expanded upon with out of battle restrictions rermoved if GF weren't retarded and improved their concepts instead of throwing them away for new ones
3. All other new gimmicks suck ass from a gameplay standpoint, a design standpoint, or both (Dynamax) and until GF comes up with something better, Megafags are gonna stick around
