yeah, gf are arguably lazier now than they once were, but i think the vast majority of people are too ready to just shit on new pokemon games without even trying them because thats the popular take. sword and shield never even got a chance, but desu theyre some of my favourite games in the franchise just because of how good the long-term appeal is
