Look at it this way. On one hand it's dumb that Koraidon resembles a motorcycle when it doesn't use the tires to move, but isn't it just as dumb to have a Pokémon that literally IS a motorcycle like Miraidon? At least with Koraidon they pass off the tires as a tail and floatation sac.

Having motorcycle pokemon is dumb, but having a motorcycle pokemon that doesn't even use it's wheels is a million times worse than an actual motorcycle pokemon. Now that we know Koraidon doesn't actually use his wheels on land that makes the decision to give his design wheels brain numbingly retarded. Koraidon's design was ugly, but now it also has no proper function to justify it being shit.

Honestly, I like how the legendaries in this game seem to be more sociable. Like so far most have been hidden away from humans, the Tapus being the closest I can think to not being like that, and even they usually distances themselves. I like the idea of having legendaries that don't mind interacting with humans. At least I'm assuming thats the case since you get one as a ride early on, unless the plot it going to be that you are the special chosen one and the mythical beasts came out from hiding to go with you.

Try learning what the word "legend" means, it's not just something that may or may not exist that no one ever sees. Certain actors can be considered legends, people can describe a musician as being legendary in their field. Hell, it's how we have the expression "Living legend"

My logic is that there will be lore behind them that puffs them up to a more legendary status. I see it kind of like that big headed rabbit from the gen8 DLC, if I recall, it was more social in olden times and would show up to help people and what not which built up a legendary status although by modern times that status had more or less been forgotten.

Koraidon had to have something that resembled wheels so it would be obvious that it's a counterpart to Miraidon. But it would look stupider if it actually used the wheels because why would an organic lizard creature drive on wheels? So they incorporated "tires" into the design by making them a tail and throat fold.

Why did he have to be a motorcycle specifically? Make his back look like a saddle and they would be just as good counterparts. It would fit the past and future theme better with Koraidon being a saddled animal and Miraidon being a motorcycle, and Koraidon's running animation would look less retarded. There were other ways to make them feel like counterparts without just slapping two tires onto a dragon that don't do anything.

Same I've pretty much had a complete turn around, something about it's natural colors that doesn't clash against the nature I'm spending the entire game in, actually has unique animations for climbing, swimming, riding atop a natural beast instead of some stupid sci-fi thing I'd quickly get sick of thematically with no way to change it
