The thing is, i like Marowak's regional deisgn, but i just don't really like Marowak itself. Its not bad, but it really has that sort of "transitional" design feeling, like wartortle for instance, you know, where its not terrible, but only a minimal design change, thats obviously just the stepping stone for the "real" evolution, only in the case of Marowak, there is no third evolution. Its essentially just Cubone, but less cute and not really more threatening or cool. So not only am i robbed of a regional Cubone, but the cool variant i get is with a pokemon, whose core design doesn't really speak to me. Its L's all around.
