This is what I've been after for the longest time. Give it to a complete shitmon, it would make so many other slow shitmons actually viable and make trick room in singles good

I'm a trick room user and completely disagree. An auto trick room setter would be broken and force people to have to run trick room counters on their teams at all times. It's too much of a momentum shift. But an item that increases the amount of turns to 8 I agree with.

This is not a reasonable comparison considering this is a constant thing with multiple strategies. Not just trick room. The thing that would be keeping it in check is that you sacrifice an item slot for the extension when you could have used that item slot for more damage output, longevity, or to be immune to taunt with mental herb. Weather as a whole is arguably worse right now than this hypothetical we're talking about.

This is what I meant about it not being balanced, everyone would have to run a Mon with trick room at that point which would be too centralizing.
