>>51170038A lot of you probably already know about the event only move Happy Hour, which doubles your prize money. But I think it's pretty neat that if you have an event only Pokemon that knows this attack use this move and Pay Day in the same battle while also holding an Amulet Coin, all of those effects stack. It also even stacks with O Powers in the Gen 6 games. And since Pay Day gives you coins worth 5x your current level, and trainers pay out based on their class and strongest Pokemon, the most money could earn in one battle may be against Diantha in Gen 6
>(Based reward of $16320 + Pay Day (lvl100) of $500) x 2 (Happy Hour) x 2 (Amulet Coin) x 3 (Max O-Power) = $201,840Now what most of you also know is it's actually faster to make money going to the restaurants in X and Y. Battling through Sushi Roller using the above method nets you $379,440 each time, which is more money, but it costs you $500,000 just to enter the battles. So the only real way to make money and end up in the black is by selling the nuggets you earn for a good performance. You need to earn and sell at least 15 Nuggets to turn a ~$29,000 profit, which is paltry AF. But if you battle "perfectly" you can earn 25 Nuggets, which nets you $129,440 in profit. This is still less than you get from battling the Champion, but completing series of Sushi Roller battles (all 5) goes a lot faster than working your way through the Elite 4 + Diantha + credits, so as long as you are willing to grind in the restaurant you can max out your money pretty quick.
