I hated SM, because I hate school settings, especially in a fantasy franchise. They're the laziest shit ever to write and chinks eat it up because they fetishize middle school and high school to no end, in addition to obviously trying to bait schoolkids into seeing it as "relatable". Never did I as a school kid enjoy shows that involved characters also going through school because I'm not a bootlicker that enjoyed school.
Pokemon really is dying. This used to be a series I enjoyed because it involved seeing kids going out on adventures in a magical world, while every other cartoon was about being in school.
