3 changes I'd make to Araquanid's design

Also I'd give Araquanid the ability to skate/stand on water, which I don't think it's ever been shown to do but is fitting for it

The Slowpoke line is pretty popular, but most of the attention gets drawn to Slowpoke and Slowbro. I don't see nearly as much love for Slowking, but it's actually my favourite of the bunch, including its regional form.

I don't know if Drapion is popular or not.
It's probably the unpopular(?) pokemon I like most, though.
I really like Lanturn. I don't think Lanturn is popular.
Maybe Tropius? But, that stems mostly from pure utility, and it being my first pick of a Pokemon to actually own.

Besides that, I think I like pretty normie picks. Aggron, Latias and Latios, Charizard, Palkia, Salamence, Gyarados, Metagross, Nidoking and Nidoqueen, Tyranitar, Tyrantrum. You maybe get the idea?

I generally think all african animals themed mons are pretty cool, even the girafarig evo looks great by what we've seen so far, we just miss a proper rhino mon (rhyhorn is basically a kaiju come on) and african elephant mon (with all due respects to donphan)

Ludicolo was pretty meta for a long time. It's still serviceable on rain teams, though with all the restricteds running around it's not quite powerful enough to be good anymore.

I used to be a big fan of Vileplume back in the days of Gen 1 & 2.
I still like it, but there are other Grass types and Poison types that I like more.
Some others I like that I don't see mentioned a ton: Mamoswine, Chandelure, Empoleon

The leg spheres are actual bubbles. The only reason they're cloudy is because Araquanid mixes its webs in, then fires them off its legs to trap and drown prey.

Look at the curved line just after the leg orb. It's supposed to convey that the bubble is quickly sliding off the leg, not just magically appearing at the tip.

It should have just been a Kalosmon. That way it would have made the Bug/Water fans happy and could enjoy a gen without getting completely overshadowed by Golisopod. As it stands, Kalos' only bug line is Vivillon.

I fucking love Araquanid. Choice band liquidation with the water bubble ability does massive damage to anything that isn't 4x resisted or has water absord or storm drain.
I use one on my doubles OU team with icy wind and sticky web as utility moves.
