>>51188372>in general : swampert/quagsireQuagsire is good because its one of the few Pokemon that ignores stat boosts and has good recovery on top of it. Swampert is good because it has good stats that are almost identical to Incineroar’s and a good movepool. Are you forgetting Whiscash was introduced in the same gen and is complete trash?
>alolan muk/drapion/skuntank2/3 of these are complete shit, what are you talking about?
> fairy/steelMawile is one of the worst fairies in the entire game
> kingdraGood because it’s a swift swim abuser with some of the highest stats
>Sableye/SpiritombSpiritomb is worthless and Sableye is pretty much only usable because it has Prankster Quash.
So no none of these Pokemon are good just because of their type. The closest example you have is Alolan Muk specifically in LGPE because it’s one of the only usable Dark types in the game and Mewtwo/M-Alakazam are extremely common threats.
>>51188794>Typing is one of the primary factors, if not the most important factorCompletely untrue. Pretty much every good Pokemon is good because of some combination of its stats/ability/movepool, all of which are drastically more important than its fucking type. The only retards who think typing is that important are the dumbfucks who don’t play pokemon outside of the shitty single player campaign where you do nothing except click the SE move against the NPCs.
> On the side made worse by it’s typing, Avalugg is the most famous example of Ice keeping it downAvalugg is bad because it’s passive as fuck (its physical Ice STAB options are garbage) and is incredibly easy to roll over just by hitting its special side. It would be dogshit even if it were Steel type. Steelix has a similar statline and is also bad.
> It is basically a physical version of BlisseyThe difference is Blissey has a gigantic HP stat to help pad out its lopsided defenses. And Blissey is ALSO mediocre outside of the smogshit format.
