The back of the packaging (as is legally required) even states they aren’t effective at protecting you from covid-19 and the medical masks people use are never worn or fitted properly to actually do any good. The fact that your average person has no idea about cross contamination and the lengths you must go to to avoid it just makes it worse. It’s not a matter of simply throwing something over your face, it’s keeping your hands completely away from it—and—if you do touch it, immediately cleaning them and never reusing masks.
Tldr; Nothing is being gained by the average person wearing this crap because they don’t know proper procedure in the first place
