>>51198214What do you mean canon? I thought it was an implied theory, what makes it canon? wouldn't this disprove it? the fact there's an Arceus with only 1000 arms for 1000 alternate dimensions means only 1000 dimensions.
How would it even work, then, you get a cartridge and end up in a random dimension, since you can't choose to end up in yours, and why would they be able to interact with each others if they're not even a different dimension but an alternate reality that has reset?
>>51198430Of course Hoenn is a continuation. It explains the roots of the Pokemon world and continues the important lore with many new elements. It being a "le soft reboot" means nothing, first of, because it is NOT a reboot, it doesn't hold any charateristic like a game's reboot, it has all the old pokemon with the same designs, the same lore, old regions mentioned with the same story they had in the previous game and the character comes from Johto, because it's a direct continuation of Johto. Same shit for Unova, the "soft reboot" thing is just Gsmefreak's way of dealing with things and offering a new generation experience, hence if anything every new generation is some kind of "soft reboot", they just decide how much to put of the older gens. And they referred to Hoenn like that, because the original Idea and that of Johto was to have a direct connection with older regions as to be able to visit them too. That doesn't happen from Hoenn onwards, and you don't get to fight the previous protagonist or in the same league (well, you do in some cases), but Unova is also a direct continuation of Sinnoh and the most important lore of Sinnoh.
>>51198761??? what's this?
>>51199664We already knew of Arceus being far from complete from the originals. What PLA does is telling us the story of the godly dynasty of humans and the connection of those humans and Arceus and why those ruins exist
