>>51198790Dinosaurs did not and never had crocodilian like hides. None. Crocs are unique like that. That's their thing and only their thing specifically. Dinosaurs turning into birds is their specific thing that crocs don't have. Even the other branches at least developed bird hips even if they went for a different body plan.
You need to understand something. The feather discussion has almost NOTHING to do with the t.rex. Nothing. We have dinosaurs we KNOW had feathers and which kinds, those dinosaurs are raptors and others related to that family like gallimimus. When people cry about feathers on dinosaurs, those are the ONLY ones that have changed. That's why the op pic is a raptor. If anybody starts crying about t.rex feathers, ignore them. They're retards who have invented a scenario they don't like just to get mad about it. It's totally irrelevant and unrelated. And even if they did have feathers, by the time they were a grown rex they would be barely visible, like elephant fuss.
So again, dinosaurs do NOT have crocodilian ANYTHING in any way shape or form, they also don't have lizard anything, and the only feathered dinosaurs are the ones that are literally fucking birds that should've had feathers from the start.
>But!No. They didn't. They have dinosaur scales, which vary quite a lot depending on the species, but never encroaching upon croc or lizard. Lizard gets closer though by virtue of not being crocs, which again have wholly unique scales
