He used to just take something weird from a video game and see if it's scientifically possible. It wasn't about theories at all, and "Game Theory" was just a term that sounded smart and was video game related.
Lore theories were rare, and they were usually wacky things that tied into the science and history, like saying doctors in Skyrim are hiring marksmen to shoot people in the knees with arrows because knee surgery was an expensive procedure in viking times.
FNAF fucking ruined Matpat because now every video needs to be about THE HIDDEN LORE YOU NEVER REALIZED! And I can't even blame the guy for it because his FNAF and lore theories are the ones that make him money.
Food theory is actually good because there's no food lore. He's just doing food-related science and math stuff.
