>>51203041The Battle Frontier is a staple of Hoenn that made even more sense to include due to various improvements in training and the addition of Pokemon and battle mechanics (triple battles, hordes could be used in the Battle Pike, Battle Dome could have had an online mode, Battle Tower record mixing would have worked via StreetPass, I could go on).
Casuals out themselves by saying "no one actually played it" which is false, kids played it and stopped because it was brutal, casuals are only going to play up to the credits and stop regardless of what you put in front of them, and actual players either beat it outright on release or came back to it a decade later to complete it.
