They’re all dark types, but seem to pull from the 4 perils of chinese mythology (they’re more analogous to the genies than anything else). Based on their typings they also factor in the seasons. Heres more info https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_Perils

for dark types the options are the two beasts of the apocalypse and maybe one of the snakes
i think the cockatrice and the basilisk apeared both in the bible too
there are also a couple of herbs/plants that can be source of interesting concepts in the bible, like the mandrake or the figs, a bit more heretic would be using the burning bush lmao
