I remember there being a lot of hype around how BDSP was being made with Unity because that'd mean people can easily make mods for it. Has there been anything noteworthy released other than mods that change the wild encounters to the Platinum ones?

Nope, most mods are model swaps and QOL changes. A few mods that I do like is one that changes Pokemon sizes to be correct, one that makes pokemon follow better, and one that changes animations like making some flying pokemon be on the ground

And those mods were all available on week 1 of the game's release, same goes for the 60 FPS patch.

I remember thinking ORAS was a massive letdown compared to HGSS but coping by telling myself that my favorite gen was next, and that it'd get its grand remake on the Nintendo Switch, and that it'd be glorious.
