Has anyone else got this before? And who's "Kaz"? I'm over 60 hours into the game and haven't seen a message other than the standard rematch/swarm/bug-catching contest/"oh you won't believe it I fought a rattata the other day" ones.
"[...]" is because I don't remember if he said something else, I think he did but I forgot what it was. I'm grinding some levels and watching YouTube so it didn't have my full attention, I know it wasn't super important though.
As a side note, I'm about 1/3 of the way through 100%ing Gold, I've already completed Red/Blue/Yellow, and I haven't managed to see a single shiny pokemon other than the Lake of Rage Gyarados... how unlucky am I bros?
