Which Post Gen II Pokemon is the most 'ambiguous animal'? Seeing how Genwunners are obsessed with the idea of ambiguous animal = automatically good, I thought I'd dig into this.

Personally I feel that while the apple motif is clearly the priority here, the Applin line exemplify the whole ambiguous animal thing. It's supposed to represent a worm, but it could easily be a reptile or bug of some kind. The whole ambiguous animal thing really shows with Appletun, where you can see a combination of reptile and mammal traits, the bug/worm traits of its family members completely absent.
