Then I finally realized it. Sinnoh is just a fucking boring as fuck region. Has a shitty dex, gen 3 story 2.0, boring as fuck characters (except cynthia and dawn), region that has literally nothing and every interesting mon is the ace of someone else. In platinum I nearly fucking unwillingly copied cynthias team because I was like hey what about this mon and then oh cynthia, e4 etc uses it.
