He has the possibilty of beating freeza in a lot of ways. First being freeza is a fucking idiot tyrant while mewtwo is a god of psychic powers. Freeza would probably toy around while mewtwo manifested a clone to shit on him. You could go on all day on why mewtwo could shitstomp freeza if freeza didnt just press the win button but hes never done that anyway so its canonically mewtwo favored based on intelligence.

I'll give you Mewtwo is probably more intelligent but that means shit when you opponent is trillions of times Stronger, Faster, Durable etc.

You could give Mewtwo a win if you give him shit like Power Swap but the likelihood of getting that off against someone who could run billions of laps around you without you even noticing is better said than done.

Have you seen how freeza acts? Hes basically angelica in the rugrats parading around over the toddlers. He has no knack for fighting and no composure in a fight. He might outspeed mewtwo or outpower him an infinite amount of times but he also did with vegeta and goku and piccolo and fuck krillin even got the jump on him. Theres no discernible reason to believe that someone that much weaker than freeza with incredibly higher intelligence couldnt beat him. Unless it was "fuck it im blowing up the planet" which he COULD do but he already fucked that up twice canonically so why the fuck would i think he would manage that in a fight with mewtwo any more than i would a fight with fucking yamcha or something.
