Explorers of Sky is the main one people love, Rescue Team is entirely optional. And RT is the one that's been remade on the Switch anyway, so you might as well play Explorers first since it's now technically the most 'dated' one

You can skip the first 3DS one, Gates, and just go right to Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, also give the PMD DX remake on Switch a shot.

Sky > Super > DX > irrelevant
