>>51255419In bigger represented countries like the US you'll have regionals, MSSs, and Nats spread out, so unless you have lots of time and money to travel (or are sponsored) you'd most likley be able to afford maybe 1, possibly 2 big events a year. California may have one, NY, Georgia, Texas, and maybe somewhere in bumfuck South Dakota.
With Europe, that counts as one whole region. Those 5 events in the US will be abiut the same for the whole continent of the EU and would require you to travel to the next country over. Keep in mind, long distance transit is way easier in the EU, so going from Portugal to France on a train is much more of a trifle. So these competitive players are more than likley used to EU travel and could easily make it to the worlds this year.
