Sounds really corny, I kind of like it in a “so bad it’s good” sense. Getting really really sick of the electric guitar and synth stuff though, makes the newer OSTs feel like they’ve got no identity. Electric guitar was supposed to be Unova’s, damn it, like how the piano was Sinnoh’s and the trumpet was Hoenn’s!

It really doesn't sound like it to me, but some people seem to think so. If it's true, then Toby must just give GF his scrap tracks and save his actually quite good music for Deltarune. His swsh track sucked, and you never hear anyone talk about it at all these days. Unlike how eternal his Undertale tracks are.
