The Switch is a handheld first, otherwise the Lite wouldn’t exist. It’s literally just the 3DS successor, in GameFreak’s eyes (as well as other handheld focused devs). Also, Pokemon games have never looked good. Every single generation has been behind graphically.

The problem is that it doesn't look like an Unreal game, yet for some fucking reason still runs as poorly as one. Game Freak are literally down the corridor from a company that knows the limitations of the Switch hardware and manages to release games that look good and play well, yet they continue to shit out low effort garbage.

Pretty bad when there are lots of other titles on the switch that use the system better to its limits. MH Rise, Metroid Dread, Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, Mario Party Superstars, etc. I can keep going :)

Switch underclocks itself to half the clocks to run in handheld mode. Docked is the default state.
Lite is the worst selling model by far.
