-a bracelet that can be thrown like a boomerang, imagine it with the shape of a pokeball on the main side (pic unrelated)

N-Model Pokeballs

The newest versions of Pokeballs that are designed to be slimmer compared to older Pokeballs, with the miniaturization of Pokemon PC storage system that allows for efficient Pokemon storage. This ends up completely replacing the older capture/release mechanism and throwing, allowing for a easier usage of the product through clicking the touch screen as if it were like a remote. Pokemon information is now easily accessed at a glance by N-Model's touchscreen.

None. And definitively not deviating from basic form based on Gachapon capsules. It's one of the most basic, recognizable and iconic things in Pokemon and is there literally from the start, when it was supposed to be named "Capumon".

The pokeball is so unique and simple and integral to the setting that I can't think of ever changing it or how it'd be even possible. And I think about how other monster franchises do it all the time and like those a lot, but the pokeball is special, even compared to the ultraman kaiju capsules that inspired it. And I think it's the anime that helped. The manga was more in line with capsule toys and though it's cool to be able to see the pokemon inside, it looks like a toy
I can only think about how the design would've involved in-universe. The ones we got in PLA were disappointing
