>>51283047I guarantee you no one you are fighting is a pro. The average low skill player knows at least a couple of spammable strats that can easily sweep anyone that doesn't see them coming and doesnt know how to stop them.
If you are vulnerable to noobs spamming setup boosts, bring 1-2 pokemon that can counter them, like unaware users or something that can remove the boosts.
Something you should do to easily earn some starting experience is, whenever you see a strat that seems OP, copy it and start using it. That way you'll eventually find players good enough to counter it, and you'll learn how the strat is beaten.
