- They have hidden grottos scattered around
- Updates to the towns and routes to give them more character. Cherrygrove has lots of cherry trees. Some routes have occasional weather.
- Slight variations in pokemon palettes, seen with the Magikarp here. The magikarp also have different patterns. Makes random incounters more unique.
