everything i catch that i actively use MUST be in pokeballs so it's all uniform and doesn't look tacky even if it matches the color palette
another reason for pokeballs is they don't give off special particle effects, even if i did catch her in a dive ball that would mean un-fitting water particles would come out every time i send her out. she's a fairy, not a fish.
