Anyone who spent some time in Japan can tell something about how Pokemon is still visible there? I know they have those Poke Centers but other than that do you still encounter it somewhere? Do you see people playing the it on the train?

My father did many business trips in the early 2000s to Japan and he said there was Pokemon really everywhere. Starting at the airport where he was greeted by Pikachu costumes. Trains where full with people from all ages playing gameboy. Streets where filled with kids trading cards. Even his 50 years+ coworkers used the short break times to pull out their gameboy. Not gonna lie, I kinda enjoyed the time when Pokemon Go came out and you could see people in my European hometown out on the streets catching Pokemon.. it was a short but fun period.
