The open front jacked is nice and helps convey movement better, its clothing that can billow. Plus the few times he took it off and just had the black t on was cool. The fully sealed up tops don't suit him.

The AG and DP outfits fell for the “baggy” fashion meme of the early 00s, which makes him look like a self-conscious fat middle school kid trying to hide it. Really highlights his twinkification over the years. Indigo League in particular he’s got a really stocky look to him. Mate just look at the OG Ash and the 2017 movie Ash where they’re wearing the same outfit. Compare their physiques. OG ash has broad shoulders and a stocky midsection and muscular arms, whilst the 2017 version has narrow girlish arms/shoulders and wide hips.
