What do you think about Crystal (manga version of Kris)? I find it funny how when HGSS came out that rather than being replaced with Lyra she just got Lyra's clothes.

I think she’s neat and probably the best girl in the book next to Green(Blue)

Easily one of the best PokeSpe characters. I like how her Masters counterpart basically references her gimmick.

She kinda motivated me to complete the Pokedex when I read the GSC arc for the first time.

The "polite until she's in the zone" persona is a good fit for how over-the-top the character design is.

I don't think the arc needed to spend nearly as much time introducing her as it did, given that it only amounted to a fake crisis of confidence. She and Gold were entertaining enough that it didn't really matter that they didn't change much, but by that same token better to skip the empty drama than waste pages with it.
