They had the perfect opportunity to do in Journeys now that they’ve established that Lance is the Kanto/Johto champion. And since a majority of this show takes place in KAAAANTOOOOO they could of had an an episode featuring her

They probably thought it was pointless since Koga has a younger sister in the anime and it would be redundant. Aya even appeared in Johto in one episode instead of Janine.

Honestly, them bringing in her in the Johto episode was such a dumb move especially when Gen 2 had already had a relative of Koga’s in Janine
